CLEANING MICROWAVE OVEN EASILY WITH 4 SECRETS BELOW (PART I)
We often don’t pay attention to microwaves until they start to have problems. Do not wait until it begins to show signs of slow heating, or food has splashed all over inside to begin cleaning. You should clean the oven periodically. Unplug for safety and clean with a soft cloth or sponge inside with your favorite detergent. Lemon, vinegar, baking soda or diluted dishwashing liquid all give unexpected results. Find out below.
Pour about 1 cup of 240 ml of clean water into a half cup of rice. Add to a cup of water 2-3 slices of citrus or 1 tablespoon of vinegar (15 ml). If your microwave is really dirty, you can give all 3.
Turn on the rotary heaters for 1-2 minutes for the water to start evaporating. Acid vapor will soften the scale quickly. Gently wipe it gently with a soft cloth or sponge and the inside of the oven will shine like new again.
2. Add 1 teaspoon (14 g) of baking soda to the solution if your microwave smells.
Baking soda is a natural deodorant and is widely used in home cleaning. So stir it into the water before you put it in the microwave. Baking soda will absorb the smell when hot steam rises.
3. Put 1 wooden skewer into the water bowl
If you are going to heat water in a light, thin bowl, the microwave can heat the liquid and cause it to burst. To prevent the liquid from getting too hot, add a wooden skewer or wooden spoon to the bowl.
Avoid putting a metal skewer or spoon into the bowl as it can overheat and burn your microwave.
